CNY Tray of Togetherness Smoothie Bowl (Raw, Vegan, Gluten-free, refined sugar free)

During Chinese New Year, we have a tradition of keeping a tray of snacks called the tray of togetherness at home. So that when people visit your home during CNY, they can enjoy some snacks while chatting. However, those snacks in the tray are using very unhealthy which are full of unhealthy fats and overwhelmed by sugar, and they didn't taste good either. Hence, I created this vANGIEtarian's Tray of Togetherness full of superfood goodness, including bee pollens, raw cacao nibs, goji berries and dried mulberries on top of a cranberry chlorella smoothie bowl. You can use toppings you have in hand to create your own tray of togetherness. It's so simple to make and you can definitely get yourself in some taste in CNY tradition.








Ingredients:


4 cups green leaves (I used kale)
1 cup unsweetened almond mylk
2 Organic Burst chlorella tablets
2 large organic bananas
1 ripe pear
1 cup cranberries

Toppings:

Goji berries
Raw cacao nibs
Bee pollens
Dried mulberries

Directions:


  1. Place all ingredients into Vitamix and blend until smooth
  2. Surround the bowl with sliced papaya slices
  3. Divide the central into four quarters and place the toppings into each quarter
  4. Enjoy and wish you all a happy Chinese New Year <3
