Chocolate Peppermint Cups (Raw, Vegan, Gluten-free)

The instructions may seem a bit complicated but in fact these are so easy to make and requires only 30 minutes. These chocolate peppermint cups look so cute that it's perfect to make it as a treat for your friends! :)

Recipe adapted from This Rawsome Vegan Life.


3 tbsp coconut oil
1 1/2 tbsp raw cacao powder
1/2 tbsp carob powder
1 tbsp maple syrup
A pinch of sea salt

Peppermint part:
3 tbsp coconut butter
1 tbsp maple syrup
5 drops peppermint essential oil
1/4 tsp Organic Burst wheatgrass powder



  1. Place coconut butter in a bowl immersed in some warm water until it melts
  2. Stir in other ingredients and mix well
  3. Place the peppermint mixture into some tiny silicon cupcake moulds and place them into the freezer until they set

  1. Mix the ingredients well 
  2. Cover the hardened peppermint part with a thin layer of chocolate mixture
  3. Return the cups into the freezer until the chocolate layers hardened
  4. Dip the bottom and the sides of the cups into the remaining chocolate mixture and return to the freezer until the whole cups become solid
